The next generation of content search has started!

A very successful example for using INTELLIPOC as abase system is the new AIR application INTELLIBOOK. S&S Media offers online access to its whole magazine archive with this application. Customers can benefit from a unique knowledge pool of technologies of modern software development! They can browse IT journals, special issues, conference materials and online articles to get valuable information.

What is INTELLIBOOK?

INTELLIBOOK is an Adobe Air application, which can be downloaded from www.intellibook.de. Every article that has been published in any of S&S Media´s magazines can be found and is available in PDF-format. Full-text search and several filter options (tags and categories) help customers to find the required information in a fast and easy way. Hours of searching through magazine archives, if available at all, are eventually passé. INTELLIBOOK delivers any information any time to everyone. In addition to this it is also possible to search the content of different online portals, and magazines ­ no matter if they are in PDFs or HTML format. But not only PDF or HTMLcontent is available via INTELLIBOOK ­ videos, news, whitepapers, conference slides and online articles can be also viewed! It is not necessary to update INTELLIBOOK manually ­ INTELLIBOOKS updates itself when connected to the internet.

How does INTELLIBOOK work?

The AIR application INTELLIBOOK is divided into 3 sections: on the right-hand side you find the full-text search on the top with the tag cloud to simplify searches underneath. Beneath the tag cloud is a detail area which shows information on the chosen content. On the left-hand side you find the categories to filter your content by media type, product and topic. The results of your search are shown in the center of the INTELLIBOOK. PDFs will be shown in a separate window together with save and print functionalities.
